What it is
Weleda Calendula Cuts & Grazes Skin Salve is a natural ointment for the treatment minor wounds, cuts and grazes. Calendula officinalis also known as ‘English’ or ‘Pot’ Marigold. Found in many gardens worldwide. Calendula has been used for centuries for its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic qualities. It has been used so much in Russia that it has the nickname of Russian Penicillin. Products containing calendula have been used as standby for health professionals for many years.
How to Use
Use Weleda Calendula Cuts & Grazes Skin Salve for application to the skin. Wash hands before and after use. Can be used by adults, the elderly and children over 6 years of age. Clean the affected area and apply directly or on a dry dressing two or three times daily. If the symptoms worsen or persist after one week, or if there are signs of skin infection, a doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.
Do not use
– if you are alergic to any ingredients or to plants of the Asteraceae (Compositae) family.
– You are pregnant/breastfeeding.
– Under 6 years of age.
